The Next Step

It seems like it's time for a new post, but I've been procrastinating because I'm a little unsure what to do with the poll results. I was hoping if I waited a few more days a clear winner would emerge. Not only do we have a three-way tie right now, but, to be honest, I'm not actually sure what to do with any of the sentences anyway.

But moving on. It's possible that everyone has already voted, since there are a total of 14 and two of those are mine (yeah, I cheated, too). So if Ashley also voted twice as her comment indicates, that means eleven people voted and that number appears to equal or exceed the total readership for the blog.

But, if anyone hasn't yet cast their vote, please help break the tie so I can start writing. And, since I don't know what to write, you'll have to vote on that, too.

ok seriously you can't "not blog" (or, would it be "blog" since "not blog" actually is blogging, and therefore it should follow that "blog" actually mean not blogging?)for 13 days and then pick up right where you left off because it doesn't make any sense. and then people like me who read your blog via an rss feed not actually on the blog website are confused and have to actually GO to the blog-site (ooh, new word) to figure out what the hell you are talking about.

also, in other news, the building full of lefty liberal progressive organizations that i work out of in denver is turning our parking lot into a giant 2 story semi-permanent "tent" (although it is not actually a tent, it is a complete structure with bathrooms and electricity-- solar generated of course-- and hard walls and a huge soundstage) during the DNC (democratic national convention, aka a bunch of silly people running around with plastic nametags and barack obama stickers)

the tent is ostensibly going to host hundreds of "independent bloggers" so they can blog to their hearts content about global warming and the iraq war in our fake DNC replica because they are not important enough to get credentialed for the real DNC. however, just so they feel cool too, we are going to "credential" them so we can make sure that only the right mix of "independent bloggers" are hobnobbing in our plastic tent blogoshere. you should come blog. or not blog. whatever.

I like the fact that you came back to the last post. I'm interested to see what you do! I'm not sure I've read one of your poems - that's why I voted for it!
