Struggling
On days we wanted to last forever we woke up to watch the sun rise. Now every day I watch the sun set over the sound and disappear behind the Olympics. It's one of those things I wish I could capture, but if it loses something in the digital photo it sure as hell is going to clunk like a crayon drawing of an orange circle and purple triangle mountains with safety-scissor lines of snow if I try to get it down on paper.

Take Your Slacker Twin Sister to Work Day
While this national holiday was celebrated on May 20th this year, I am only getting around to blogging about it now. Appropriate, perhaps, as I am the slacker twin pictured below.
My sister is a lobbyist. She works at the state capitol. Did you know that the capital of Colorado is Denver? I saw a bill get signed into law. There were lots of people in suits, a Cub Scout troop, and me. I pretended to be a canvasser.
I got to meet the governor!
